Donruss the Rookies Steve Sax

The third of the top rookies to have an indiviual card in the Donruss 1982 set (Johnny Ray, Kent Hrbek previously). Steve, of course shared a card on his 1982 Topps card (off hand I o think he appeared in the Fleer set).  This appears to be a spring training photo but is that ivy on the outfield wall back there. I am surprised Steve never became a major league manager.
