Friends, it is snowing here. It really is!
Well, the snow has stopped right this minute but this is how it looked just thirty minutes ago. It's cold and windy too.
And to think that all during Christmas it was hot enough to keep the air conditioner running. Had to. With a ham and a turkey in the oven and folks in the house and Eli miserable and hassling. Now, it's looking like Christmas! Supposed to be down to 21 degrees tomorrow morning.
A package with my name on it was delivered to our door a few days before Christmas.
Inside that package was this beautiful teacup and saucer. I've mentioned more than once on my blog that pretty teacups are hard to find here. Isn't this one beautiful? The shape of the cup and the handle...and the flowers. I'm almost afraid to hold it.
Sharon at Rivercrest Cottage was going through some things and found this teacup and saucer and thought about me. How special is that...then had it sent all the way from Texas. Thank you Sharon. Sharon has a great blog. She is always painting and decorating, or changing things around...and shopping. Sharon finds the neatest things, in the cutest shops! Her home looks beautiful. You know, the only thing missing from our Christmas Holiday this year was seeing Lynn and the other four grandchildren. So, yesterday Lynn and I met in Durham and spent the day together. Here's miss sunshine now, with those freckles and blue eyes...
It was so exciting to visit Lynn's shop, "Side Tracked". Oh my! I have lots of pictures, even a picture Lynn took of me. Imagine that! Guess I will save them for a post tomorrow.
Here it is after nine and bedtime already. Time flies! Can you believe that Christmas has come and gone and here we are into 2016!
